Derek Kraus in his NASCAR racing suit

Derek Kraus Customer Spotlight

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A firefighter? A veterinarian? An astronaut? And today – are you what you dreamed you would be? Well, if you’re Derek Kraus, the answer to that question is an unequivocal yes. Derek went to his first race at just three years old to watch his dad compete, and there began his dream of becoming a racecar driver himself.

Fast from the Start

Derek clearly caught the racing bug early and can’t remember a time he wasn’t interested in racing. From go-karts and bandoleros to trucks and late models, he’s been in the driver’s seat since well before his Sweet 16. In fact, he became a full-time driver in the 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West before he could legally obtain his driver’s license. It was this series that led him to his proudest racing accomplishment (so far!) – in 2019, he won the K&N Pro West Series Championship!

Banking on Bristol

Fast forward to today, and Derek is racing the number 19 Chevrolet Silverado full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series, and he’s especially excited for the race at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 15th, 2022. Bristol is known for its short track, extremely steep banks (that’s the track angle, not the place Derek keeps his winnings 😉), and incredible volume – its nickname isn’t “Thunder Valley” for nothing! “Bristol is one of the coolest tracks on the schedule,” Derek said. “It’s fast and it’s a short track, so it’s always exciting and there’s always something going on.”

An Incredible Opportunity

While IncredibleBank may have customers in all 50 states, we are, after all, a Wisconsin-born bank. So when the opportunity to sponsor Derek (who is, himself, Wisconsin-born), we jumped at the chance, and haven’t looked back since.

And apparently the feeling is mutual! “The name says a lot –  incredible! I’m honored to represent IncredibleBank both on and off the track,” he said. “As a driver, I’m proud to wear the IncredibleBank name because of what they represent. They’re a diverse company and make everyone feel welcome. IncredibleBank feels hometown in a big business world.” Even his family dog, Camber, is a big fan. She loves wearing her IncredibleBank bandana almost as much as she loves getting dog treats when she goes through the drive-thru.

As someone who is on the road frequently (pun intended), he’s also appreciative of IncredibleBank’s commitment to technology. “The mobile app is great. It’s like I have a bank in my pocket all the time.” Besides, the app would fit in well with his pit crew. “It’s one of the fastest loading banking apps on the market, and of course I love the speed!”

Reindl Printing

Prior to 1979, Rick and Lynne Reindl had been contemplating their business future. It wasn’t difficult because their passion was the printing industry, but getting started is frequently the challenge, identifying a passion rarely is. Together, the two owners started Reindl Printing(Opens in a new Window) (Opens in a new Window)in 1979 renting half the space in what was once a livery stable in Merrill, Wisconsin. Armed with four Davidson Duplicators, Reindl’s success was almost immediate and they rented the other half of the building a mere four months later.

And he never looked back. He started Sunburst Shutters & Window Fashions(Opens in a new Window)(Opens in a new Window)(Opens in a new Window) out of his garage, and it has now grown to over 80 locations.
